Recently, I was made the PC Coordinator at work, in charge of setting up and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in the branch. It has been really enjoyable. There is something so satisfying about fixing computer problems for associates, like upgrading their computers or showing an easier way to complete a task.
Otherwise, I am full-trained in Commercial Lines insurance (Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, Garage Liability, General Liability, Commercial Umbrella). I have also been working on insurance designations from TheInstitutes.org. My next one is Cyber Liability, which is a good balance between my insurance knowledge and things I studied in Information Systems. There is always something more to learn.
It also looks like I'll be headed back to Michigan sometime in August to go to a Commercial Auto school. I am a little apprehensive to leave for 5 days, but excited to head back to The Mitten State. It's been four years since I have been there.
Overall, Auto-Owners has treated me very well and I am so grateful to be employed by them.
